You Got This! {Coffee For Your Heart}

I’ve decided to join Holley Gerth for a weekly cup of Coffee for Your Heart. It’s a weekly dose of encouragement, from my heart to yours, to help get you, my lovely readers, over that mid-week hump. I’m not a coffee drinker but I love a good cup of tea so you can enjoy coffee and I will enjoy tea 🙂

As we start 2014, the year ripe with possibility and adventure, I want you to know that you can do this!

I know it can feel daunting, at times, to keep moving forward in life. Whether you are chasing a lifelong dream, working to maintain a dream, or simply living life, sometimes it gets hard and giving up feels like the best thing to do. But nothing worth having, comes without a little bit (okay a lotta bit) of hard work.

But the hard work doesn’t mean it’s not the right path for you. Instead, the hard work is there to show you what you are made of and I am here to tell you that you are made up of stronger stuff that you might realize.

So don’t you quit!

It can get as hard as it wants but giving up is not an option. Why? Because YOU GOT THIS!!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit –
It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit.
